Complete List Of 104 House Members Who Voted To Cut US Aid To Israel

The House rejected Rep. Thomas Massie’s amendment to cut US aid to Israel by a 314-104-10 vote, with 103 Democrats and Massie voting in favor.

The US House of Representatives rejected an amendment that sought to block US aid to Israel, but the vote highlighted growing divisions among Democrats over the issue.

The amendment, introduced by Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY), failed by a 314-104-10 vote. Of the 104 lawmakers who supported the measure, 103 were Democrats, and Massie was the only Republican to vote in favor. Meanwhile, 98 Democrats voted against the amendment, while 10 Democrats voted “present.”

The proposal was offered as an amendment to the fiscal year 2027 funding bill for the State Department and national security. It would have prohibited funds in the bill from being used for Israel and reduced the Foreign Military Financing Program by $3.3 billion, matching the amount designated for Israel.

The amendment received support from Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) and 103 Democratic members of the House, according to the official House roll call vote.

House Democratic leaders split on the amendment. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) opposed it, arguing it was “overly broad” and could affect funding for humanitarian aid, refugee resettlement, peace-building efforts and US Embassy operations.

Katherine Clark also described the amendment as “overly broad” and criticized Republicans for attempting to “score cheap political points.” However, she said she voted in favor because “the status quo is not tenable” and argued the United States should not provide “a blank check for military aid to any country that does not comply with US law, interests, and values.”

Nancy Pelosi said the amendment presented “an unfortunate choice,” but added that “US policy must change” to achieve “a just and lasting peace in the Middle East.” She said she supported the amendment “for the message that it sends,” despite calling it “ill-conceived.”
