Founder and President of Christ Embassy, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has unveiled a range of electric vehicles under the Tsion brand, signalling the church’s growing interest in technology, innovation and economic development.

Oyakhilome unveiled the vehicles during The New Economy Unveiling 2026 with Pastor Chris, an event organised as part of the church’s economic and innovation-focused programme.

The unveiling attracted widespread attention after videos from the event emerged on social media, showing Oyakhilome presenting several vehicles developed under the Tsion brand.

Vehicles displayed at the event

Among the vehicles unveiled were the Tsion Passion, Tsion Falcon, Vision series, Vision Coupe and OG series.

The presentation offered attendees a glimpse into the church’s latest venture beyond its traditional religious activities and into the technology and automobile sector.

Oyakhilome also disclosed that some aspects of the vehicles were still being refined as development continued.

He specifically mentioned the steering wheel design as one of the components still undergoing refinement.

The pastor also explained the meaning behind the “OG” designation used for one of the vehicle series, stating that it means “Of God.”

The event was promoted by the LoveWorld Global Fellowship, which announced ahead of the programme that it would hold on Sunday and would be strictly by invitation.

Bolaji Idowu praises initiative

Pastor Bolaji Idowu, founder of Harvesters International Christian Centre, praised the development and described it as an example of the church demonstrating its capacity in the marketplace.

Reacting to the unveiling, Idowu said the project had broadened his understanding of what the church could achieve outside the pulpit.

“My mind has been stretched. This is what it means to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world,” he said.

Idowu further stated that the church should not always depend on others to provide solutions to societal challenges.

“We are not waiting for them to give us a solution. The church has come to its place; now they have no other option than to listen to us,” he said.

Church moves beyond the pulpit

The development adds automobile innovation to Christ Embassy’s wider focus on technology, entrepreneurship, economic empowerment and innovation.

Idowu also emphasised that the church’s role should extend beyond preaching the gospel to demonstrating practical capabilities in different sectors of society.

“We are not just preaching the gospel; we are demonstrating the ability of the Spirit, even in the marketplace,” he said.

The unveiling of the Tsion vehicles therefore represents a notable development in Christ Embassy’s efforts to participate in the technology and economic space.

While details about the vehicles’ specifications, production capacity, pricing and commercial availability were not disclosed at the event, the unveiling has already generated significant interest online.

The initiative also reflects the growing involvement of religious organisations and their leaders in technology, entrepreneurship and other economic ventures, as Christ Embassy seeks to position its innovation programmes beyond conventional church activities.
