Bandits kill two, abduct 21 in Kaduna neighborhood

Bandits attacked and killed two individuals and kidnapped 21 others in a recent assault on Akwando village in Kuturmiland, Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

The assault befell within the early hours of Wednesday, November 4, 2026, when locals have been sleeping of their respective properties.

This unlucky growth has renewed the persistent assaults on residents following the recent assault and has additional worsened the safety scenario within the state.

Neither the Kaduna State Police Command nor the Ministry for Internal Security and Home Affairs has made any public assertion on the event.

But a reputable supply who spoke to DAILY POST confirmed the incident, saying that the abductors entered Akwando village, Kuturmiland in Kachia LGA Kaduna State within the early hours of Wednesday and killed two and kidnapped 21 individuals.

According to him, “Members of the affected community are still apprehensive over the incidents. As we speak, the bandits have not made any demand.”
