Annie Idibia reacts to rumors of her and 2Face being back together

Nollywood actress Annie Idibia has dismissed rumors claiming she and her ex-husband, 2Face Idibia, are back.

The rumor of their reconciliation surfaced online after a section of social media, last week, shared an old video of the couple vibing and having a good time in a club. This weekend, social media was rife with rumors that they were indeed together and even expecting a third child.

Well, this morning, Annie took to her Instastories to address the speculation. She indicated that the videos being circulated were old. She also stated that there is false news being circulated about them.

“Old videos circulating everywhere, false news everywhere,” Annie wrote.

Rumours of a reconciliation began circulating on Friday, July 17, after an old video showing the former couple sharing an affectionate moment at a nightclub resurfaced on social media.

Annie and 2Baba, who share two daughters, announced the end of their marriage in January 2025 after more than two decades together. 2 Face has since married politician Natasha Osaworu.
