“I hate when men call women gold diggers. If you can’t afford it, don’t date” — Actress Bukky Wright shares her views on relationships

Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has sparked reactions after sharing her thoughts on men, finances, and relationships.

Speaking in an interview, the actress said it is a man’s responsibility to ensure his partner is well taken care of, adding that a woman should be a source of pride to the man she is with.

“I hate it when I hear men calling women gold diggers. What do you expect her to dig?” she said.

Bukky Wright added that she would never advise any woman to settle for less, stressing that men who cannot afford the responsibilities of a relationship should either date within their financial capacity or avoid dating until they are ready.
