2027: We’re firmly behind Tinubu’s re-election — Katsina Gov
Katsina State Governor Dikko Umaru Radda has declared that the state will remain firmly behind President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress, APC, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Radda stated this on Sunday in Katsina, where he assured Tinubu of the state’s continued support for his re-election.
“Katsina State is an APC state. Every elected person in Katsina State is a member of the All Progressives Congress, and I want to assure you that Katsina State has a special attachment to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” he said.
The governor added: “Katsina State will continue to stand with you. We will support you, and our people will support you, Insha Allah.”
Radda said the APC has a strong political structure across the state’s 34 local government areas and 361 wards.
He also said the reforms of the Tinubu administration had increased the financial resources available to state and local governments, creating opportunities for investment in infrastructure and social services.
The governor urged political actors to engage citizens constructively as the country approaches the 2027 elections.
