2027: We’ll Deliver Ondo for Tinubu’s Re-election – Aiyedatiwa

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has assured that the state will deliver overwhelming support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election bid in the 2027 presidential election. 

Aiyedatiwa made the declaration on Tuesday in Akure while distributing food and relief materials to vulnerable residents under the Renewed Hope Initiative Social Investment Programme Food Outreach Scheme.

“We have already declared Ondo State for Tinubu 2027 and we remain unwavering in our resolve to deliver en masse in the Sunshine State for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second term,” the governor stated.

He commended the Renewed Hope Initiative for its efforts in identifying and addressing the needs of communities, describing the food distribution programme as a demonstration of the Tinubu administration’s commitment to alleviating poverty and supporting vulnerable Nigerians.

The beneficiaries included widows, physically challenged persons, elders, and youths. Aiyedatiwa said the programme goes beyond food distribution and represents “a celebration of compassion, solidarity and a shared commitment to improving the lives of the less privileged.”

Speaking at the event, the wife of the President, Senator Oluremi Tinubu (represented by the wife of the Vice President, Hajia Nana Shettima), explained that the initiative aims to improve access to nutritious food and strengthen community support systems.

She noted that the consignment delivered to Ondo State was provided by the Abdusamad Rabiu Africa Initiative, adding that the Renewed Hope Initiative complements President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda by addressing food insecurity and malnutrition.

The First Lady commended Governor Aiyedatiwa and his wife for their dedication to the welfare of the people and the successful implementation of the programme.

The pledge comes as political activities intensify ahead of the 2027 general elections, with several APC leaders across states reaffirming support for President Tinubu’s second-term ambition.
