2027: Peter Obi, Kwankwaso working for Tinubu, don’t vote them – Adeyanju alleges

Activist lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, on Saturday, alleged that the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi and his running mate, Rabiu Kwankwaso are working for President Bola Tinubu like they did in 2023.

Adeyanju urged Nigerians not to vote for Obi in 2027 because such votes are for Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress, APC.

Posting on X, the activist lawyer wrote: “Peter Obi and Kwankwaso are working for Tinubu like they did in 2023. Don’t waste your votes again on them like 2023.

“A vote for them is a vote for Bola Tinubu and the APC. They know exactly what they are doing.”

Contrary to Adeyanju’s claim, Obi ran for the presidency under the platform of the Labour Party, LP, while Kwankwaso was the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, presidential candidate.

While Tinubu won the election, Obi came third behind the then Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, flag bearer, Atiku Abubakar.

Meanwhile, Obi recently said he will never abuse or disrespect President Tinubu.

Speaking in Enugu, Obi said: “I’ve never abused anybody. Who has seen me calling President Tinubu’s name? Never! I will not do that. He’s the President of the country, he has all my respect.”
