2027 elections: Pro- Tinubu group targets 20 million votes
Tinubu Again Movement 2027 has declared its commitment to mobilise 20 million votes for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election, as it called for unity among Nigerians to ensure continuity in government.
The convener of the just concluded Nigeria Decide of “Tinubu Again Movement 2027”Solidarity walk” on Wednesday September 30, 2026, Dr. Titilayo C. Onyia, made the declaration during a telephone chat with Blueprint.ng Correspondent in Abuja.
Onyia said the group had been working to promote what she described as the achievements of the Tinubu administration and sensitise Nigerians on the President’s policies and programmes ahead of the 2027 election.
According to her, the group has compiled about 52 achievements of the President into a booklet which is currently being distributed nationwide for documentation and publicise what it considers the administration’s accomplishments.
She also disclosed that the organisation had convened a town hall meeting attended by more than 5,000 people, where participants were sensitised on the administration’s achievements and its plans if Tinubu is re-elected.
Onyia argued that Nigeria could overcome its current challenges with continuity in leadership, citing the United Kingdom as an example of a country that had experienced difficult periods before developing into what she described as one of the most organised countries in the world.
She said members of the Tinubu Again Movement believed that Nigeria would become better under the President if he secured another term in office.
The group also highlighted developments in infrastructure and social services.
Onyia said that general hospitals across the country now have modern equipment, while universities have been refurbished and several roads have received attention under the current administration.
She also praised the administration’s handling of fuel subsidy removal, arguing that funds previously shared by a few individuals were now available to state governments for development.
On empowerment, Onyia said the President has prioritised support for less privileged Nigerians, orphans, widows, students and other groups.
She further commended the Board of Trustees of the Tinubu Again Movement 2027, the Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Musa Bello Matawalle, and the Director-General of the movement, Dr. Awal Abdullahi Aliyu, for their unrelated efforts to bring back to power President Bola Ahmed Tinubu comes 2027
According to her, the movement had procured thousands of items for empowerment initiatives, stressing that the President had directed that empowerment should go beyond the distribution of food items such as rice, noodles and semovita.
Dr. Titi said the movement was he committed to delivering 20 million votes to Tinubu in the 2027 election, adding that members were already working towards fulfilling the pledge.
She consequently called on leaders of support groups, associations and non-governmental organisations that had submitted letters seeking collaboration and partnership with the Tinubu Again Movement across the country to attend its designated venue for clearance and registration.
She urged members and supporters of the movement to work together towards achieving its stated objective of securing continuity in leadership.
