2027: 'Adamawa is Asiwaju state' – Fintiri declares

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State and the state chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Hamza Madagali, on Monday declared that the state is with President Bola Tinubu in his quest for re-election in 2027.

They spoke in Yola in the course of the launch of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement 2027, marking the start of campaigns within the state which has at all times supported a rival presidential candidate and son of the soil, Atiku Abubakar of the African Democratic Congress, ADC.

Overlooking the ‘Atiku issue’ in Adamawa State, Fintiri asserted, “This is Asiwaju state.”

He contended that even when for nothing else, Adamawa State will help the president “for his sacrifice, for having been taking the bullet for all of us”.

Fintiri stated the president has applied such financial reforms as have empowered the varied states to execute worthwhile growth tasks.

He stated, “It is not the responsibility of the Federal Government alone to achieve development and reduce hardship. This is a Federation. We in this state will contine to do our part to improve the lives of the people.”

The state APC chairman, Hamza Madagali, who spoke earlier in the course of the ceremony, was equally emphatic that the state is really APC and the folks will vote accordingly in 2027.

Madagali declared that outdoors Bola Tinubu, no presidential candidate will rise up to 25 % votes within the state.
