'You’re afraid' – Anyanwu fires again at Uzodimma over Rainbow Coalition remark

The National Secretary of the Nyesom Wike-led Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Samuel Anyanwu, has fired again on the Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, over his touch upon the Rainbow Coalition.

In an announcement on Wednesday, Anyanwu stated Uzodimma was afraid of the Rainbow Coalition.

DAILY POST recollects that Uzodimma had earlier stated that Tinubu would get natural votes from Imo, stressing that there is no such thing as a Rainbow Coalition within the state.

However, reacting to Uzodimma’s remark, Anyanwu stated the Imo governor was fearful of what the Rainbow Coalition represents.

In the assertion, Anyanwu stated, “You’re afraid. The APC in Imo State and its leaders are afraid of PDP and the Rainbow Coalition.”

According to him, Imo people have realised that leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state have been rejected.

He likened the APC in the state to Ebola disease that has no cure.

He emphasised that the Imo governor’s attack on the Rainbow Coalition shows that the coalition is already giving him sleepless nights.

The former lawmaker stated that the Rainbow Coalition has come to stay and that no amount of intimidation from Uzodimma will stop it.
