'Where's the undertaking breakdown' – Rufai Oseni blasts Tinubu over contemporary $20.5b, €1.04b loans request

Arise News anchor, Rufai Oseni, has criticised President Bola Tinubu over his contemporary request for National Assembly approval for enormous exterior loans.

Speaking on Wednesday throughout Arise Television’s Morning Show, Rufai requested for a breakdown of the mortgage request.

DAILY POST recollects that President Tinubu on Tuesday requested the National Assembly to approve $20.5 billion and €1.04 billion in exterior loans.

Rufai expressed shock that the President would request such an enormous amount of cash with out telling Nigerians what the cash is supposed for.

According to him, there isn’t any concrete undertaking breakdown, no structural phrases, no rationalization on how the loans can be repaid, but the Presidency desires approval.

“President Tinubu goes ahead and requests for National Assembly approval on $20.5B and €1.04B in external loans without providing a concrete project breakdown or structural terms,” he stated.
