A coalition of civil society organisations (CSOs) for good governance in Nigeria has declared that it wouldn’t watch anyone hide under the umbrella of activism to tear the country apart

The group at a rally in Abuja, Wednesday, said: “We stand with good leadership, we stand against criminality.”

Delivering the rally speech, national chairman of Nigeria Citizens Watch for Good Governance, Collins Eshiofeh, said; “We are immensely proud of the exemplary leadership displayed by His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“His Renewed Hope Agenda has brought bold reforms and the approval of a new national minimum wage after painstaking negotiations shows a president who listens to the cries of the Nigerian worker and acts with compassion.

“We say allow Mr. President to implement the minimum wage that he approved. No distraction, no disruption.”

He also praised the director general of the DSS, Ajayi Oluwatosin for his achievements in office.

“On behalf of the millions of Nigerians we represent, this coalition hereby passes a resounding vote of confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and DG of the DSS, Mr. Ajayi Oluwatosin. They are doing a good job,” he said.
