Tobi Amusan Qualifies For 2026 Diamond League Final In Brussels
Nigerian sprint hurdler Tobi Amusan has officially secured her spot in the prestigious Diamond League Final, scheduled to take place in Brussels on September 4-5, 2026.
The 100m hurdles specialist earned a total of 28 points across five Diamond League meets this season, comfortably meeting the qualification criteria for the championship final.
Her consistent performances have positioned her among the top athletes vying for honours in the event.
Amusan, a former world champion and Commonwealth Games gold medalist, has been a dominant force in women’s hurdling.
Her qualification adds to Nigeria’s growing presence on the international athletics stage and sets the stage for what promises to be a highly competitive showdown in Brussels later this year.
Further details on the full list of qualified athletes are expected to be released by World Athletics in the coming weeks.
