Tinubu, Oluremi, Sanwo-Olu to grace Olusi’s 90th birthday celebration in Lagos

President Bola Tinubu, First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu and Lagos state governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, are among dignitaries that will grace the 90th birthday celebration of the chairman, Governance Advisory Council (GAC) in Lagos state, Prince Tajudeen  Olusi.

A statement signed by the Secretary of the Planning Committee, Dr. Seyi Bamigbade, Wednesday, said the historic celebrations would attract prominent dignitaries from across the nation.

He said: ‘’The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, alongside the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, are expected to attend as the Distinguished Special Guests of Honour.

‘’The executive governor of Lagos state, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, will serve as the Chief Host, while Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire chairs the central planning committee.’’

Dr. Bamigbade  added that Prince Olusi will be installed as the Baba Adinni of Yorubaland by the Yoruba Land Council of Islamic Preachers, led by their National Ameer, Sheikh Taofeeq Akeugbagold on Saturday, October 3, 2026.

He said the celebration will commence with Prince Oluyole Olusi Annual Leadership Symposium and Scholarship Awards, alongside the official Academy Launch.

 He added that special prayer and thanksgiving service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026: at the Lagos Central Mosque, adding that the celebrations will culminate in the grand finale which is the Pa Olusi Grand Reception Party.
