‘Temitope Osoba died at police station, not from cancer’ – Fiancé breaks silence
The fiancé of late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba, Prophet Itunu Onadeko, has opened up about the circumstances surrounding her death, claiming that she died at a police station in Ikorodu, Lagos.
Speaking during a recent interview, Onadeko dismissed widespread speculation that Osoba died from breast cancer, insisting that her previous health challenges were not responsible for her passing.
He also refuted rumours that the actress was poisoned, neglected, or that funds donated for her cancer treatment were mismanaged.
“In my own understanding, Temitope did not die from cancer. I received a call around midnight from someone who told me she had died at a police station in Ikorodu.” He said.
Osoba, who passed away at the age of 40, had previously shared her battle with breast cancer publicly and spoke openly about her treatment journey.
Addressing other claims circulating online, Onadeko denied reports that the actress had been stopped from driving.
He stated that she drove herself to Iperu not long before her death.
He also rejected allegations that she suffered any form of abuse or degrading treatment, including claims that she was punished by having faeces or urine poured on her.
