Some People You Think Are Enjoying Abroad Have No Paper And Cannot Even Come Back Home -Iginla

Popular Nigerian preacher Joshua Iginla has cautioned Nigerians against blindly relocating abroad, warning that many people living overseas are struggling silently despite appearances on social media. Speaking during a sermon on the growing “japa” trend, Iginla said desperation to leave Nigeria has pushed many families into risky decisions that later lead to regret.

According to him, many Nigerians sell properties and spend huge sums pursuing life abroad without proper planning or legal documentation. He warned that some migrants travel on visiting visas, only to become stranded after their permits expire. In his words, “Some people you think are enjoying abroad have no paper and cannot even come back home.”

The cleric argued that not everyone abroad is financially stable, adding that many are battling loneliness, unemployment, and immigration problems. He noted that some people remain trapped overseas because they lack valid residency papers and fear they may never be allowed to return if they leave. He also claimed that financial hardship abroad pushes some into illegal activities just to survive.

Iginla further advised Nigerian youths to think carefully before spending millions on foreign education without guaranteed opportunities afterward. He insisted that such funds could sometimes be invested into businesses or opportunities back home instead of chasing uncertain dreams abroad.

While acknowledging that some Nigerians have succeeded overseas, he stressed that relocation should be done wisely and legally, not out of pressure or excitement. He also warned young women to be careful of fake travel offers that could lead to exploitation and human trafficking…....
