The job I do isn’t a stable one. So what I do is I buy things in advance. I never wanted to hear one day that there was no food in the house.

I’m talking about just ₦24,000. The way she responded prov0k£d me. I said, “Oh, you think I’m weak, abi?” So I seized her phone and told her she wouldn’t get it back for the next three days.

It wasn’t even up to 24 hours before she went out and bought another phone for ₦319,000. That was when I realised, oh, this same person I was str&ggling to raise ₦24,000 around had over ₦600,000 sitting in her account all along……....
