Sheriff Akanbi, the husband of Oluwatosin Bankole, has alleged that before they got married, Bankole refused his advances during a meeting at a hotel in Agbado and that he later heard claims that she was involved in commercial sex work at another hotel in Sango.

Speaking in an interview with Punch Newspapers, Akanbi recounted events he said occurred while they were still in a relationship before their marriage. He claimed that one particular incident at a hotel raised questions in his mind, adding that he later heard information that further influenced his perception of the relationship.

According to Akanbi, “She came to meet me at Ben K hotel at Agbado, and I wanted to make love to her, but she refused. I later heard that she was doing ‘hook up’ at Latopic Hotel in Sango.”

Akanbi alleged that although he was disappointed by the incident, he later proceeded with the relationship, which eventually led to their marriage. He said the information he later received about her alleged activities surfaced after the hotel encounter and formed part of the concerns he is now raising publicly in response to her allegations…....
