Scientists discover 'convincing' new evidence of advanced alien life on the moon

Astronomers at Ukraine’s Main Astronomical Observatory have documented sightings of more than 20 unidentified objects in the vicinity of and on the moon over several months in 2025. The disc-shaped phenomena ranged in dimensions, with some reaching enormous proportions; estimated at between 15 and 25 miles in diameter.

The research — which, it should be noted, has not undergone peer review — indicates the scientific team classified two distinct types of the unidentified disc-shaped phenomena: “atmospheric” variants that appeared stationary and “continental” objects that seemed to traverse the lunar terrain. Those designated “atmospheric” seemed to maintain fixed positions while moving in sync with the moon’s rotation, implying they were installations secured to the lunar surface, according to the research.

They demonstrated peculiar variations in luminosity and rotational movement, with investigators determining that the observed patterns might signify organized activity or the existence of sophisticated technology. They additionally suggested the possibility that the phenomena originated from a concealed facility on the moon.

The research team stated in their findings that the UFOs had been detected “in near-Earth space. We believe that the moon serves as a base for UFOs,” reports the Daily Star.

Researchers documented the primary cluster of more than 20 unidentified objects traversing the lunar surface during two separate observation windows on Sept. 7, 2025, at 7:05 p.m. and 7:27 p.m. ET. An additional sighting of ring-shaped objects occurred on Aug. 16, 2025, at 2:52 a.m. ET.

Both observations were captured using a high-speed camera mounted to a telescope in Vinarivka, located near Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv. The advanced camera system captured an impressive 20 frames per second, enabling scientists to monitor objects moving at speeds imperceptible to the human eye.

Despite the UFOs appearing extremely dim on camera — some barely visible as two-by-two-pixel spots against the lunar backdrop — researchers noted their movements weren’t random.

According to the study, the objects produced quick flashes lasting between one-tenth and half a second, with researchers noting their luminosity increased and decreased in recurring patterns described as a “pulsing” motion. The study further indicates that objects seemingly separated by hundreds of miles appeared to flash simultaneously.

The pulsing occurred at consistent frequencies, which the Ukrainian research team distinguished from atmospheric disturbance and telescope-tracking inaccuracies through specialized filtering technology.

The team stated the correlation was statistically meaningful, though the discovery doesn’t confirm the objects were engaged in communication or operated by intelligent entities. A subsequent observation on Aug. 16, 2025 uncovered another anomaly, even more peculiar than the formations spotted in previous weeks.

Several massive ring-shaped objects materialized in the daytime sky. The formations were nearly invisible until researchers amplified the footage using false color imaging.

The scientific team asserts the objects appeared to produce no light whatsoever, and instead absorbed virtually all radiation striking them. The objects were massive — approximately 22 miles in diameter — and seemed to complete a full revolution every three minutes while traveling at speeds of 6.8 miles per second.
