"The happiest Governor in Nigeria" – APC chieftain Joe Igbokwe conglatulates Adeleke

All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain, Joe Igbokwe, has congratulated Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, on his victory in the 2026 governorship election.

The Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Adeleke winner of the election on Sunday, August 16.

“Congratulations to Governor Adeleke of Osun State, the Imole and the happiest Governor in Nigeria,” Igbokwe wrote in a Facebook post.

“It has been very keen contest. I salute the people of Osun State for their resilience and commitment to democracy. We are democrats. We move!!!. To God be the glory.”

The incumbent governor secured 511,067 votes to defeat his closest challenger, Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who polled 444,815 votes.
