The South-South Coordinator of the P-BAT Door-To-Door Movement, Pastor Reuben Clifford Wilson, has said preparations are underway for a mega rally in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, to mark the nationwide flag-off of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election campaign on August 19, 2026.
Pastor Wilson disclosed this during a meeting with the Bayelsa state chapter of the movement at its South-South zonal office in Yenagoa.
He said the movement was organising simultaneous rallies across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) to demonstrate support for Tinubu’s re-election bid.
According to him, Bayelsa will host the South-South rally, with the movement targeting a “100 per cent win” for the President across the zone.
“The movement is mobilising to capture every ward and community in the South-South. We are committed to ensuring total victory for President Tinubu in this region,” he said.
Wilson said the movement’s Ground Patron, High Chief Government Oweizidei Ekpemupolo, popularly known as Tompolo, had directed the mobilisation of eligible voters across the country for the August 19 flag-off.
He said Ekpemupolo had provided the necessary support for the mobilisation exercise across the states.
“We thank High Chief Tompolo for his tireless and unrelenting financial commitment to the overall success of the movement,” Wilson said.
