Only ‘little boy from Rosario’ can stop Spain— Keyamo predicts World Cup final
Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, has predicted that Spain will defeat Argentina in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final, saying only Lionel Messi can prevent the European champions from lifting the trophy.
Keyamo made the prediction in a post shared on his official social media page on Sunday, ahead of the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina.
According to the minister, Spain remain favourites to win the tournament based on their performances throughout the competition, but he believes Messi possesses the individual brilliance capable of changing the outcome.
“Anyone who knows football very well should easily predict that Spain will beat Argentina today to win the World Cup,” Keyamo wrote.
The minister, however, singled out the Argentine captain as the only player capable of upsetting that prediction.
“Unless there is an exceptional moment of magic by one ‘little boy from Rosario’ called Lionel Messi,” he added.
