My Family Would Have Disowned Me If I Got One Percent Of The Chief Of Staff Bribery Scandal -Adebayo

Prince Adewole Adebayo has stated that the arrest of an alleged fraudster’s father without a court order exposes the desperation surrounding the presidential aide bribery scandal. He argued that a father claiming responsibility for such a nationally embarrassing scandal reveals just how deeply implicated the family may be.

Speaking during a podcast interview, he noted that in his own cultural background, no family would proudly claim a relative involved in such a national abomination. He clarified that while every citizen deserves proper legal representation, the optics of the arrest speak volumes about the scandal’s depth.

In Prince Adewole Adebayo’s words: “First and foremost, if anybody still claims to be his father, that person is very bold, because in the part of the country where I come from, if you have a son like that, you are not so proud to claim him anymore. In the past, he would have to look for another father.”

Reflecting on personal accountability, he added: “My family would disown me if I got one percent of that kind of scandal. So the father should consult a lawyer to talk about his rights, but I’m not going to discuss his personal rights. He should get a lawyer. But if anybody is still coming out to say ‘I’m the father of this person’ who is involved in this national abomination, I don’t know how he can get away with it…....
