Menifee Fire: Bluff Fire Burns Near Pacific Bluff Street and Brentworth Street

The Bluff Fire broke out Thursday afternoon near Pacific Bluff Street and Brentworth Street in Menifee, California, burning about 2 to 3 acres of light brush.

A vegetation fire dubbed the Bluff Fire broke out at around 3:45 PM near Pacific Bluff Street and Brentworth Street in Menifee, Riverside County, prompting a response from CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department.

According to fire officials, the blaze has burned approximately 2 to 3 acres of light brush and is spreading at a slow to moderate rate.

Firefighters are on scene, with additional air and ground resources responding to assist suppression efforts.

Officials said the fire currently has the potential to expand to 20 acres. No information on evacuations, injuries or damaged structures has been released.
