Man k!lls wife inside church premises in Imo, absconds with their two children

The Imo State Police Command has begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the de@th of a married woman at Owelu, Owerri North LGA of the state today, July 13.

According to reports, the suspect stormed a church building where his wife was attending service and attacked her before absconding with two of their three children, leaving behind the one who is a few months old.

The reason for the att@ck is yet to be ascertained.

Confirming the incident to newsmen, the command’s spokesperson, SP Henry Okoye, said the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) Owerri North Divisional Headquarters has visited the scene, and efforts have been intensified to apprehend the suspect and rescue the two children.
