The Los Alamitos Police Department said it is assisting the Long Beach Police Department at the hospital. Authorities have not released further details about the reported shooting.
A scanner report of the area read: “The Los Alamitos Police Department is currently assisting the Long Beach Police Department in the area of UCI Medical Center. Please stay out of the area until further notice.”
