A new terror training video of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) has surfaced showing the operatives being prepared for water-borne tasks as they are seen training in Mangla Dam in PoJK. The LeT video purportedly shows its operatives conducting swimming and water-based training. The footage has surfaced days after a US-designated terrorist, Haris Dar, was speaking to terror recruits and reportedly heard saying, “this year, something big will happen” while referring to India keeping the Indus Waters Treaty in abeyance after the Pahalgam terror attack.
Mangla Dam, located in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, is where Kasab and other recruits received a portion of their terrorist training, which included marine warfare and beach landings.
Last week, US-designated LeT terrorist, Haris Dar, had hinted that they may be planning some big attack against India over the issue of Indus Waters Treaty. New Delhi has kept the IWT in abeyance after the Pahalgam terror attack as one of the countermeasures against Pakistan.
By keeping the Indus Waters Treaty in abeyance, Pakistan loses control of water coming to their country through rivers that are flowing from India. Pakistan has raised the Indus Waters issue at global platforms, however, India has maintained its stand of keeping the treaty in abeyance until Islamabad stops supporting, sponsoring, and harbouring terrorism.
As the issue continues to remain crucial for Pakistan’s water security, a video of US-designated terrorist Haris Dar has surfaced in which he is claiming that this year, something big will happen that would grant them a victory.
