Kwara 2027: Asa ‘ ll deliver maximally for Tinubu, Danladi others – SUBEB chair

Leader of All Progressive Congress (APC) in Asa local government area of Kwara state and chairman Kwara State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Prof AbdulRaheem Adaramaja has vowed that the local government would deliver “maximally” for all the party’s candidates in the 2027 general elections.
This is just as the Board Chairman, Lower Niger River Basın Development, Ilorin, Alhaji Abdulatif Alakawa said the coming general elections would be a litmust test for those claiming to have control of the area.
Adaramaja and Alakawa spoke on Saturday during a thank you visit by the candidates of the APC led by its governorship candidate and speaker of the State’s House of Assembly, Rt Hon Yakubu Salihu- Danlandi to Kwara Central senatorial candidates.
The SUBEB boss said the people of the local government had benefited immensely from administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and would pay pack with their votes for the ruling APC come 2027.
“As the leader of APC in Asa, I want to assure that we will deliver maximally for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Hon Yakubu Salihu Danladi and all the candidates of our party – the APC in the 2027 general elections”, he said.
Adaramaja said apart from the massive infrastructural development brought to the local government by the administration of AbdulRazaq, Asa was the only council that had produced the longest serving Chairman of SUBEB in his person.
His position was corroborated by Alakawa, who however, said the 2027 general elections would be a litmus test for those claiming to have followers or influential in the local government.
“This is pay back time ,It’s our votes and results that will speak for us , we will eat from what we produce”, Alakawa told the large number of party faithfuls that turned out for the events.
While justifying the candidature of Salihu- Danladi as the party’s governorship candidate, Alakawa said the Speaker was not only instrumental to the successes being recorded by the AbdulRazaq’s administration, “he also stood firmly by Ilorin when the governor was seeking election” saying ‘Its pay back time now”.
For his part, member representing Asa/Ilorin West federal constituency, Hon Muktar Sahagaya assured that the people of the local government would not regret voting APC come 2027 as the candidates would consolidate on the successes recorded by the ruling APC government.
Addressing party supporters in Ilorin west local government, Danladi appealed to those still aggrieved by the outcome of the party primaries (G-15), to have a rethink and retrace their steps.
