'It Will Get Much Worse': Trump Shares Dramatic Videos of Fresh US Strikes on Iran
US President Donald Trump has threatened to escalate military actions against Iran if attacks on commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz persist.
US President Donald Trump has warned that the United States would intensify its military action against Iran if Tehran continued attacking commercial shipping in the Strait of Hormuz, hours after US forces carried out a second consecutive night of strikes across Iran.
“This is in retribution for yesterday’s bombing of ships by Iran. If it happens again, it will get much worse!” Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform alongside an image appearing to show a US strike on a site in Iran.
The US President also shared several videos that he said showed the latest strikes as the military operation continued. Trump’s comments came after explosions were reported at multiple locations along Iran’s southern coast following the latest US strikes. According to Iran’s official news agency IRNA, warplanes were heard over Kish Island, while explosions were reported in the port cities of Bandar Abbas, Konarak and Chabahar.
IRNA also reported power outages in parts of Chabahar following the strikes. No independent confirmation of the reported damage or casualties was immediately available.
Iranian state media reported damage at several locations and signalled that a military response could follow. Nour News, an outlet linked to Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, quoted an unnamed military source as saying Tehran was preparing a “massive attack” on US bases across the region.
Another military source, quoted by Iranian state media, said Iran would target every US base that launched or supported the attacks on southern Iran using “heavy missiles and UAVs”, adding that the response would begin “within minutes”.
However, no Iranian retaliatory strikes had been confirmed at the time of publication, and the Iranian government had not issued an official statement on the latest US military operation.
