If You Must Travel By Air, Keep One Day Free. You Are Not Sure What Will Happen At The Airport -Obi
In a video shared by Advocacy For Good Governance on Sunday, July 13, 2026, Peter Obi, a former governor and presidential candidate for the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged Nigerians to move ahead of their time of appointment whenever they travel by air.
Recently, the Nigerian minister of aviation, Festus Keyamo, demanded a public apology and payment of a N25,000 fine from the NDC aspirant, Peter Obi, after he claimed that his vehicle was unjustly clamped at the Nnamdi Azikwe Airport in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja.
However, in the video, Peter Obi, a former governor and presidential candidate for the Nigerian Democratic Congress (NDC), urged Nigerians to move a day ahead whenever they travel by air, as scenarios that can play out at the airport are unpredictable.
