I wonder what you guys smoke before you set up your cameras to vomit diatribes – Lagos gov’s aide berates Solomon Buchi

The Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the Lagos State Governor, Gboyega Akosile, has berated social commentator, Solomon Buchi over his recent comments advising foreigners against only visiting Lagos if they want to experience Nigeria in its truest form.

On Thursday, September 3, Buchi shared a video in which he urged foreigners, particularly Caucasians and Chinese tourists, to visit other states aside from Lagos to . According to him,

“The only thing you can get out of Lagos is begging, clubbing, fake life, and a den of adulterers and fornicators. There is nothing there apart from all the loudness and madness.”

He argued that other cities like Ibadan, Uyo and Abuja are better representations of Nigerian heritage.

Reacting to the post, Akosile took to  X to accuse Buchi of displaying bitterness towards Lagos.

“I wonder what you guys smoke before you set up your ring lights and cameras, that makes you vomit diatribes,” Akosile said
