Jamila, a kidnap victim from Yan Tumaki Ward in Katsina State, has stated that she was abducted when she visited her aunt’s home for a wedding in December 2025.

Speaking in an interview with News Central TV, Jamila said six kidnappers riding on two motorcycles kidnapped her along with three of her friends.

Jamila said the kidnappers raped her and her friends while they were in captivity. She added that the baby she now carries on her back was conceived as a result of the rape.

In Jamila’s words: “I went to my aunt’s place to visit for a wedding in December last year when we were attacked by kidnappers. The kidnappers came on two motorcycles, with three on each. We were kidnapped and raped, and that is the reason why I have this baby on my back…....
