I Robbed Many Churches, I Focused On RCCG & The Reason Is Simple, They Had What We Needed -Kolawole

Temitope Kolawole, a former armed robber who has repented and is now an evangelist, has stated he robbed many churches in Nigeria and nearby countries. He said he often targeted Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) churches.

According to a report by Punch Kolawole said he had nothing personal against the RCCG. He stated that RCCG churches usually had money, good musical instruments, and equipment, which made them attractive targets for him and his group.

Kolawole said whenever he arrived in a new place, he would ask a bike rider to take him to an RCCG church. Kolawole stated that once there, he would carefully study the environment, the surroundings, and how the church was arranged before planning his attack. He said this pattern continued until he found redemption in 2021 and changed his life.

Kolawole said: “What I said was that, truly, I robbed many churches, both within Nigeria and in neighbouring countries. I focused mostly on Redeemed Christian Church of God churches. The reason is simple: they usually had what we needed…....
