I Have no Problem With El-Rufai – Uba Sani Denies Rift With Predeceasor

Kaduna State Governor, Uba Sani, has dismissed reports of a fallout between him and his predecessor, Nasir El-Rufai, insisting that their relationship remains cordial.
Speaking during an interview on Trust TV, Sani said he has never criticised the former governor and urged the public to disregard speculation about a feud between them.
“I have no problem with El-Rufai; I have never spoken against him,” the governor stated.
Sani attributed the rumours to political actors seeking to create tension in Kaduna State, stressing that his administration is focused on governance rather than personal disputes.
He said he continues to regard El-Rufai with respect as a former governor and leader, adding that he has no intention of engaging in political battles with his predecessor.
The governor also emphasised that his priority is to promote unity across the state and deliver the benefits of good governance to residents.
He urged Kaduna citizens not to be distracted by reports of an alleged rift, maintaining that his administration remains committed to development and public service.
