Former world champion boxer Jorge ‘Locomotora’ Castro dies at 59 after struggling coronary heart assault

A former boxing world champion has tragically handed away on the age of 59.

Jorge ‘Locomotora’ Castro, an Argentine nice who received 130 of his 144 fights throughout a 20-year profession, died on Wednesday, October 14, after struggling a coronary heart assault at a bingo corridor.

Castro’s daughter, Quimely, confirmed the reason for loss of life and gave a heartbreaking account of his ultimate moments in an interview with the Argentine media.

‘My dad’s passing was pure,’ she stated. ‘He had a coronary heart assault. His chest began to harm, and he couldn’t take it.

‘It was only a matter of quarter-hour, nothing extra. The Scientific Police already took care of proving it was completely pure.

‘He was with me and my mother. We had a routine outing with my mother. They’re very shut pals; they haven’t been a pair for 15 years, however they’re very shut pals. It was an outing the three of us did.’

Revealing what occurred, Quimely added: ‘We have been superb, and all of a sudden he instructed me, “I’m going to the bathroom”.

‘He went to the lavatory, and when he got here again he stated, “My chest hurts a little.” I instructed him, “That’s because you smoke like a savage.” He instructed me, “It hurts a lot, daughter”.

‘That’s once we referred to as the authorities on the place, and it was like that, so quick, similar to I’m telling it.

‘They took him to a separate room, began doing CPR on him privately, and that was it.’

Castro, who turned skilled in 1987, was a ruthless boxer, with 89 of his 130 victories coming by way of knockout.

He grew to become WBA middleweight champion seven years after his skilled debut following a split-decision victory over Reggie Johnson.
