Former presidential aide Bashir Ahmad taunts Davido with loss of Grammy Awards to South Africaâs Tyla as they clash over Osun guber election"
Former presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad, and singer Davido engaged in a heated social media clash on Thursday evening, August 6, ahead of the August 15 Osun State governorship election.
The feud began after Davido posted about witnessing a historic phone call from President Tinubu to his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke. Ahmad bookmarked the post, warning the singer not to “come back here to lament” if his uncle loses the upcoming election.
The dispute escalated when Ahmad taunted Davido over losing out on Grammy Awards to South Africa’s Tyla. Davido quickly fired back, mocking the APC chieftain for only securing 16 votes in his past House of Representatives primary election
