APC announces fresh primaries for 10 constituencies across 5 states

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has released its timetable and schedule of activities for the conduct of primary elections ahead of the 2026 legislative bye-elections and the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC-restored State House of Assembly constituencies in Delta and Kogi States.

In a statement signed by the APC National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Muhammad Argungu, the party said the timetable covers the conduct of its primary elections for the affected constituencies.

The party noted that INEC had restored four previously suppressed State House of Assembly constituencies in Delta and Kogi States.

The affected constituencies are Abraka, Isoko North II and Ughelli South II in Delta State, and Yagba West II in Kogi State.

The APC also announced primary elections for legislative bye-elections in Gombe/Kwami/Funakaye Federal Constituency in Gombe State; Disina and Sakwa State Constituencies in Bauchi State; Udu State Constituency in Delta State; and Dawakin Kudu State Constituency in Kano State.

The party urged its chapters in the affected states to take note of the schedule and make necessary preparations for the exercises.
