Amaechi Did Not Vote For Buhari In 2025, He Told Rivers People To Boycott The Polls -Oshiomhole

Senator Adams Oshiomhole has alleged that former Rivers State Governor and ex-Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, did not vote for former President Muhammadu Buhari in the 2015 presidential election. He claimed that Amaechi asked his supporters in Rivers State to stay away from the polls.

Speaking during an interview on MIC ON PODCAST, Oshiomhole said Amaechi made the decision because of the political pressure he faced from then-Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike.

Oshiomhole stated that Amaechi, who was the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State at the time, directed party members and supporters not to participate in the election.
