ADC Inaugurates North-West Campaign Council Ahead of 2027 Elections

The faction of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) led by its National Chairman, Nafiu Gombe, has inaugurated its North-West Campaign Council as a part of efforts to strengthen the social gathering’s construction and increase mobilisation forward of the 2027 normal elections.

The council was unveiled following a gathering of the social gathering’s North-West Zonal Caucus with governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives and State House of Assembly candidates, alongside different stakeholders, in Sokoto State on Friday.

According to an announcement issued by the Director of Media and Publicity and spokesperson for the 2027 ADC Presidential Campaign Council, Dr Christopher Okechukwu, Alhaji Nuradeen Lawal Chindo was appointed chairman of the council, whereas Dr Bello Shehu will function secretary.

The assembly, held at Giginya Hotel in Sokoto, targeted on aligning social gathering positions and creating a unified technique for the elections. Okechukwu mentioned the gathering was aimed toward making a sustainable political roadmap able to positioning the social gathering for victory in 2027.

He defined that the newly inaugurated North-West Campaign Council would coordinate and oversee ADC marketing campaign actions throughout the seven states within the area, offering management and strategic route for the social gathering’s electoral efforts.

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by the Deputy Director-General (North) of the ADC Presidential Campaign Council, Hon. Bala Sani Kumo, whereas the Director of Legal and Litigation, Chief Cletus Okoye (SAN), administered the oath of workplace to members of the council.

Speaking on the occasion, Kumo urged the council to undertake an inclusive method by making certain the energetic participation of youths, girls and individuals with disabilities in marketing campaign actions and political engagements all through the North-West.
