âTemitope Osoba died at a police stationâ â Late actressâ fiancé claims, dismisses cancer, poisoning rumours
The fiancé of late Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba, Prophet Itunu Onadeko, has claimed that the actress died at a police station in Ikorodu, Lagos.
Onadeko made the claim while speaking in an interview, insisting that Osobaâs previous battle with breast cancer was not responsible for her death.
He also denied rumours that she was poisoned, maltreated or that money donated for her cancer treatment was diverted.
According to him, he received a midnight call from an unidentified person informing him that Osoba had died at a police station, although he said he did not know the exact station.
The actress, who died at 40, had previously spoken publicly about her battle with breast cancer and treatment.
Onadeko also denied allegations that she was prevented from driving, claiming she drove herself to Iperu shortly before her death.
He further dismissed claims of mistreatment, including allegations that she was punished by having faeces or urine poured on her.
