“I’m not useless. At 22, you expect me to take care of you and the whole family” – Nigerian lady breaks down during heated exchange with her mother

A Nigerian lady has sparked conversations online after an emotional video captured a heated altercation between her and her mother.

In the viral clip, the visibly upset young woman insisted that she is not a failure, saying she already takes care of herself without depending on her mother for financial support.

The 22-year-old lamented that despite not asking her mother for anything, she is constantly compared to her peers and made to feel like she isn’t doing enough.

According to her, she feels pressured by expectations to provide for her mother and the entire family at her age, describing the constant criticism as emotionally exhausting.
