âI bought 10 bags of cement for N145,000, thatâs someoneâs salary for 1 month – Nigerian man speaks about the state of the economy
A Nigerian man has sparked widespread conversations online after sharing an honest, sobering assessment of the nation’s current economic realities.
In a viral video circulating on social media, the creator revealed that he recently purchased 10 bags of cement for ₦145,000. He pointed out that this amount represents the entire monthly salary of many citizens, meaning that a vast majority of ordinary Nigerians can no longer afford to build their own homes.
Complaining about the rising cost of everyday goods and foodstuff across the country, he warned that the masses are currently “standing on a very thin line” and concluded that only divine intervention could save citizens from the crushing financial crisis.
